When should I start looking for a Bridal Gown?

To allow for manufacture. delivery and any in-house alterations you should allow a minimum of 22weeks  Once you have found your desired gown it is best not to delay ordering as gowns can be discontinued without any prior warning.

In exceptional circumstances it may be possible to obtain gowns at short notice. Either by way of a 'Rush Cut' at the factory (there is an additional charge for this) or if my designers have stock of the design you require.

Gown Manufacture

Bridal gowns manufacture takes approximately 12-16 weeks. Bridesmaids is 8-12 weeks. These are for guidance only and allowance should be made for Christmas and National Holidays depending on country of manufacture

Do I need to book an appointment to come in?

No, it is not always necessary to book an appointment. However, it is essential if requiring a Saturday or evening appointment. All
appointments are 1hr in duration and FREE of charge.

How do I pay for my dress?

Once you have selected ‘the’ gown, a non-refundable deposit (50%) is required before the gown can be made. We can offer a monthly payment plan to spread the costs. The balance is due within 30days of your gown(s) arriving.

Please Note: We no longer accept personal cheques and all outstanding Bills must be settled before gowns are released

Can I order over the phone?

We require measuring you prior to accepting your order as Designers differ slightly in their interpretation of body size and this can sometimes be 1 to 2 sizes larger/smaller than high street clothing stores. Therefore, we are unable to take orders over the phone

However, we can accept orders/measurements in writing and can supply a chart for guidance (in these cases we cannot take responsibility for incorrect measurements that lead to incorrect gown(s) being ordered)

What is the procedure with regard to alterations?

We will contact you when your gown(s) arrives to arrange for you to check  this is required with 7 days of the gown arriving) and at this time we will book you in for your first fitting, should any adjustments be required (usually about 4-6 weeks before your wedding).

For all of your fittings you will need the underwear and shoes that you will be wearing on your wedding day

As a fully qualified seamstress I endeavour to carry out of the alterations myself but there may be times when this is not possible. In this situation I do have several, equally qualified, associates that I can put you in touch with.
